SHADOWS FALL, FATES WARNING, ALL THAT REMAINS Join Forces In KOBRA KAI

October 29, 2008

Current and former members of SHADOWS FALL, FATES WARNING, ALL THAT REMAINS and DARK DAY SUNDAY have joined forces in a new project called KOBRA KAI. The mission is simple: '80s metal covers done the way the way a metal show truly was back then — a party! The group says, "The way we see it, our time would usually consist of heading out to a bar, checking out a band and having many, many, many drinks… So why not get on stage and have a good time as well?! And you are not going to see the typical '80s cover-band bullshit. Just kick-ass, drunken '80s metal madness!"

KOBRA KAI is:

Mark Lopes (DARK DAY SUNDAY, HELLSPEAK) - Vocals
Jon Donais (SHADOWS FALL) - Guitar
Frank Aresti (FATES WARNING, DARK DAY SUNDAY) - Guitar
Matt Bachand (SHADOWS FALL) - Bass
Mike Bartlett (ex-ALL THAT REMAINS) - Drums

Upcoming KOBRA KAI shows:

Oct. 31 - Club Meadows – East Longmeadow, MA
Nov. 01 - City Sports – Northampton, MA
Dec. 31 - Slap Happy's – Bourne, MA

Footage of KOBRA KAI performing at Eganstock 08 in Montgomery, Massachusetts on September 27, 2008 can be viewed below.
